AC Trip Report - July 4th Weekend

I left NY with Chris at 3:30pm.  We didn't make it to the Borgata until 8pm.  I hate traveling on holiday weekends.  We went to the Noodle bar for dinner.  Fun was had by all when they tried to give us forks!    On Friday we played NL until they opened a 4 8 HOSE game.  Matt and two of Chris' friends showed up and then we played for a bit and went to the 7pm tourney at the Showboat.  I made it down to two tables.  I was a short stack and went all in on A7.  I got called by 66.  I caught my 7 on the river and thought I won, only to realize the board was now 3 4 5 X 7  and 66 made a straight.   I took the 4th off and actually went in the pool.   On Sunday I went back to the Borgata.  They were opening a new 6 12 limit game in the high limit room.   The dealer couldn't figure out how he was supposed to make change in a 6 12 game with a rack full of $100 chips.  The next table was playing $3/$6 (Hundred) !   I got killed.  When I got QQ I lost to quad J's.  When I got 99 I lost to 666.  When I rivered a straight I lost to a boat.  I Then went back to NL and lost my JJ to trip tens.   I took a bus back to NY.  They showed a movie in Chinese with Chinese subtitles.
